When a Councilman dies with no heir to claim his Medallion, Rae Airynn enters a challenge to secure Kyllan’s Flame—and with it, revenge against the man who killed her family. With Forged, Nicole Batey tells a story of betrayal, love, and overcoming trauma in the face of unspeakable odds.

More about Nicole Batey:

Nicole Batey has been an avid reader and writer since childhood. The second she got her hands on her first Nancy Drew mysteries, she's been hooked on books. Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, she currently writes in the romantasy genre, but also loves to read anything fantasy, romantasy, or thriller.

Her main goal as an author is to provide stories that can help readers escape reality for a few hours. But in between the tension-filled slow burn moments, adrenaline-packed action scenes, and giggle/feet-kick-inducing banter, readers will walk with her characters as they process tough topics like grief or trauma, and ultimately find strength in themselves as well as each other.

More about Natasha Babcock:

Natasha is a Toronto bookish creator, long-time reader and romantasy lover, and she’s always rooting for the enemies to become lovers. As a creative, and woman in STEM, she loves fierce, multifaceted FMCs. When she’s not deep in a romance or research paper, you can find Natasha making art, twirling in vintage dresses, or creating whimsical bookish content.
