Fresh off their harrowing journey to seventeenth century Scotland and still reeling from losses, Hadley and Fitz return to the magical world of Opimae to find it in crisis. The chamber is at an impasse and a pivotal crusader has been captured by their dangerous enemy, Lorenzo Belmonte.

As the crusaders enter into the final phase of the grueling war started by Lorenzo’s parents, things are not as they seem. In a race against the clock to recover the lost MacGregor ring and restore balance, Hadley must risk her life and use everything she’s learned to defeat Lorenzo.
